Thanks OP. Personally I'm going to roll the dice on this. I got a wireless charging stand from the same brand through a slickdeal in June, half-expecting it to be crap I'd have to return. Surprisingly, it's been working great.

FYI this will probably be more like 6W wireless charging in practice. Their 15W wireless stand measures 13.4W at peak for me. AFAIU, wireless chargers almost never operate at peak spec due to inefficiency.

UPDATE: Received it and it works well. Only problem is I overlooked that it doesn't support Qi, so it doesn't work on some Android phones.

7.5watts is plenty. Magnetic charging on the go is for maintaining your battery or a slow charge. As it is at 7.5 watts your phone will get hot.
