Thanks! I managed to snag one for $599.99. 60 mile drive tomorrow to pick it up, but not a big deal.

Went to Kroger & purchased $600 of BBY gift cards on an Amex CC that pays back 6% on groceries. That's $36 off.

Kroger has 4x fuel points on GC purchases, so that's 2,400 fuel points from that purchase. That's 2 fill ups @ $1/gallon off, and 1 fill up @ $0.40/gallon off. Call that $48 off for a 20 gallon fill up in my truck.

$600 - $36 - $48 = $516 + tax + drive to pickup.

Not bad...

I had originally bought one of the BestBuy refurb 12.9" M1 iPads but decided it's just too big for me personally and awkward to hold. The battery health was also only 85%. For the same price I think I'll be happier with a brand new 11" with an M2. Not that the M1 was a slouch by any means, but it'll be nice having a more future proof iPad.

Thanks. Got one in-store in NJ for $549. Nice upgrade for the 9th Gen. Crazy that the keyboard case is $300.

A few days ago, it was $110 at woot. It is about $80 at ebay.

I doubt it. The fine print of chase 10% offer says it need to be charged from instacart directly instead of third party payment system.

Tipping is kind of out of control in 2024, agreed! You shouldn't tip a percentage on a single small-sized, big ticket item like this. Really its for their time so unless you live 100 miles away, grabbing a single item and driving to your house is probably fine as $10 tip.
