The rule of pixel is never buy on launch. Always black Friday. They consistently make launch seem like a good deal and undercut it on BF by $200. I write this on my P7, while planning an upgrade in November

FYI - for those ordering from the Google Store, I came across the promo code "supersafshort" on a Reddit thread that gives an extra $50 off. Just pulled the trigger on a P9PXL (ew that acronym) and got the discount successfully - stacked with 10% Google One discount / trade in / $200 credit.

EDIT to add that "supersaf" as of 8.20 is a valid code (original supersafshort seems expired)

Had to cancel the order after I forgot to apply a GC. Now it's applying a stupid item limit restriction and won't let me rebuy.

If it was non contract and unlocked phone yes! On the Ops post it listed either $450 or $480 for trade in value. Wow I just tried the trade in option as I saw the person above me listed the 23+ and your right, it offered me 1099 for my S23 Ultra.... thats insane, and you still get the 200 gift card.

Only towards a higher capacity version of the 9 or 9 pro (trade in value cannot exceed phone cost). $830 towards the base 9 pro xl. Ironically, 13 pro will probably be worth more in 2 years 😞 dunno what I would do with my 8 pro if I trade my 13 pro for the 9 pro

I think that's generally true. last year I upgraded to the the pro 8 and I got the free watch 2 plus $80 in credit at the Google store being a one-member and that went toward new headphones. but generally speaking the 60 to 90 day applies or Black Friday. they usually have some pretty good deals after the phone's been out a little while
