The rule of pixel is never buy on launch. Always black Friday. They consistently make launch seem like a good deal and undercut it on BF by $200. I write this on my P7, while planning an upgrade in November

FYI - for those ordering from the Google Store, I came across the promo code "supersafshort" on a Reddit thread that gives an extra $50 off. Just pulled the trigger on a P9PXL (ew that acronym) and got the discount successfully - stacked with 10% Google One discount / trade in / $200 credit.

EDIT to add that "supersaf" as of 8.20 is a valid code (original supersafshort seems expired)

Woah 132 after tax for P9 XL 256Gb with trade in of a S23U 512Gb at BB. Downgrade in storage yes but hopefully the rest I won't notice. Hope the tensor chip and reception is more on par with the Galaxy performance this time around. For that price seems stupid to wait for the S25 series.

Agree, if that store credit was ACTUALLY as good as cash, or at minimum didn't expire after a year, I might consider it. As it is, I never have reason to buy from the Google Store outside of the phones, making it mostly worthless.

Seems like no brainer to trade in locked iPhone 12 and get pixel 9 and $100 bb credit for $0
This phone will come handy for next iPhone tradein

Some of the trade in values for Best Buy are really strange. An iPhone 12 64GB has a $799 trade-in value for the Pixel 9, but only a $295 trade-in value for the Pixel 9 Pro. I wanted a P9 Pro but I'll happily get a P9 for an additional $500 off.

With the $100 gift card Best Buy is basically giving you a Pixel 9 AND some money (even after tax) in exchange for an old ass iPhone 12 64GB.

I just pre-ordered for pickup and the email says to bring my trade-in with me when I go to the store.

I guess it automatically generates 799 for non-damaged decent phones. But it tells you it is estimated. They will give you exact trade-in value once received.
