The rule of pixel is never buy on launch. Always black Friday. They consistently make launch seem like a good deal and undercut it on BF by $200. I write this on my P7, while planning an upgrade in November

FYI - for those ordering from the Google Store, I came across the promo code "supersafshort" on a Reddit thread that gives an extra $50 off. Just pulled the trigger on a P9PXL (ew that acronym) and got the discount successfully - stacked with 10% Google One discount / trade in / $200 credit.

EDIT to add that "supersaf" as of 8.20 is a valid code (original supersafshort seems expired)

It's a crazy good deal with the high trade in value promo for iphone 12s.

I went for the Pixel 9 deal then realized that a 9 pro would be a better deal for $100 more (and $200 gc vs $100 gc) but can't place the order now.

They do have some XL models, but trade in values dropped .
For ex: iPhone 12 pro used to give 799(?) and now it's 430.
Google 8 pro is 625... It was 699..

BestBuy is showing me $82.43 for Pixel XL 128GB unlocked with trade-in value of $1099 for S23 Ultra. Any advice? I need to read some opinions about this. I've been with Samsung for years. I like their devices as well as their trade-in values each year and it's been working well for me when I want to upgrade -- I skipped this year's model.
Although I was a Google customer (G1, Nexus), I've never owned a pixel device. So, any valuable insight would be appreciated.

Did they drop, or are they just different for the XL models? It says 'comparable' device, so if you select a iPhone 13 Pro Max it'll give you about 100% off of the Pixel 9 Pro XL, versus a iPhone 12 Pro for the 9 Pro, and a iPhone 12 for the regular 9.

$1099 is a steep price for 128 GB of storage and a mid processor. Still in for one because the of great trade in values they have going, as I was surprised how much better the camera quality was on my brother's Pixel 8 pro compared to my S23 ultra it's noticeably better especially in videos.
