IN-STORE PICKUP NOTE: If you pre-ordered a phone for in-store pickup, make sure that you check your online receipt before picking up your phone. If the full promo value shows up there, then your promo is locked in and that's the deal you will get. However, your promo trade bonus won't show up on your printed trade receipt. It may only mention your base trade value ($145 for an iphonen12, for example). If you're concerned, you should immediately check the BB online receipt for an updated summary that shows the new balance. As long as the "Order Total there is correct, you should be fine. Also, you may be charged for the full phone cost originally but that charge should be processed as a refund after a few days
Trade-in values are based not just on your trade, but also on what model you're buying. When trading an iPhone 12 / 13, you'll get the best trade value when buying a similar model of new Pixel. For example:
iPhone 12 / 13 Pro will get a $999 credit toward a Pixel 9 Pro (update: now $899 credit for 12 Pro)
iphone 13 Pro Max will get a
iPhone 12 Pro Max unfortunately does not receive extra bonus credit
Note: they now appear to be lowering the promotional values that were aimed at certain devices, so promotion values above are mostly dead. Se thead updates for any remaining promo specifics.

1. BB GC has more flexibility vs. Google Store credit
2. BB will deduct taxes off your trade = more saving
3. Trade instore = no headache vs. send in trade to Google's 3rd party
4. Easy return/replacement should there be some defects. Google CS is horrid.
Though a $100 Best Buy gift card is better for most people than a $100 Google Store credit, so that's a factor too.

I'm hoping to retain FaceTime and iMessage with the workarounds. If not, I may have to switch back
Once I have my new Pixel 9 Pro, I will still try to go in-store to trade in my iphone 12 Pro. Think they will allow that?
they jacked the price of iPhone 12 to likely 250-300 dollars by now while I ordered my metro PCS deal because it takes more work and you need phone numbers it increases their cost so they decline to do it.
So they buy over priced iPhone 12 now to do this deal as they want to scalp for a few hundred per phone they expect to make 500 per phone but will really make initially 300 and lucky ones 400 first few days then slowly goes to 200 and then 100 profit.
when pixel 9 pro goes to 200 profit its now just the gift card value and those are not worth as much at 150-175 worth.
so then they start wasting time and money doing this deal. when they could work for a few hours doing a real job and make the same amount.
also part of the reason for inflation = the wall street types that don't wanna work but instead steal then blame others for inflation when its them.
Been with samsung from S2s. But wondering if clean android is going to be that much better.
I have a samsung watch and buds so wondering if they will all work seamlessly, as I have heard there are some compatibility issues between them.
1. Get a google voice number: https://voice.google.co
2. Set pin and unlock phone number for port $3. https://support.google.com/voice/...NA#xferout [google.com]
3. purchase the iphone 12 from metro, port in. sign up for $70 plan https://www.metrobyt-mobile.com/c...-iphone-12 [metrobyt-mobile.com]
4. purchase pixel 9, trade in select t-mobile black iphone 12, 64gb. good condition.
Profit. Out of pocket ~$230 +- and a free $100 giftcard.
For me, I will sell my pixel 9 for 300 after fees and shipping. walk away net positive.

The 16 appears like another incremental upgrade…maybe just hang on to the 12 as I've had 0 complaints except maybe battery.
Personal Preference: Swappa
But some like sellcell.com or similar.

Is this a pending charge and will be only charged when the item is picked up? Or is this charged now and the trade in refund is applied during pick up time?
What if we decide, not to pick the item up - will best buy refund the credit card charge immediately?
