If you're looking to buy a P9, definitely do so at Best Buy over Google store:

1. BB GC has more flexibility vs. Google Store credit
2. BB will deduct taxes off your trade = more saving
3. Trade instore = no headache vs. send in trade to Google's 3rd party
4. Easy return/replacement should there be some defects. Google CS is horrid.

Check the trade in values against the Google Store. Best Buy has a better trade in for the 6a but Google a better one for the 8.

Though a $100 Best Buy gift card is better for most people than a $100 Google Store credit, so that's a factor too.

Yeah, I placed an order for one because I had an iPhone 12 just basically sitting around as a backup. From what I recall, that model number mismatch is what originally prompted the rep of the person who got rejected to take a closer look. The model number of your expected trade-in appears on the BestBuy receipt / order info which reps can potentially look at. Fingers crossed none of that really matters … I was just hoping to have everything match up to avoid any possible issues. Smilie

Tmobile pro max only showing refund of 470 tried selecting several different pixel models and colors. Never got the full 799

Unfortunately, the 12 Pro Max got skipped for the extra bonus credit. If you have a 13 Pro Max, you should be able to trade that one in on a P9 Pro XL for a $1099 credit (obviously, not helpful to anyone with a 12 Pro Max though)

If it wasn't max you'd be ok. 12 pro gets you $999

Yep, that was a weird one … the other models of the 12 or 13 got a huge bonus for the corresponding Pixel model. But the 12 Max got screwed. :/

Finally pulled the trigger . BB charged me $799.00 + tax for Pixel 9 and valued my iPhone 12 trade in also $799.00. So if I had an iPhone, Pixel 9 would basically be free and I would only pay the tax amount. Since I didn't have iPhone 12 I bought one on Amazon for $207(including tax and renewed acceptable condition ) so Pixel 9 will cost me $207 I paid for $799 price of Pixel 9 which was $69 in my state. Therefore, Pixel 9 will cost me $207+ $69 - ($100GC) ... Net 176$ at the door .
