2. BB will deduct taxes off your trade = more saving
3. Trade instore = no headache vs. send in trade to Google's 3rd party
4. Easy return/replacement should there be some defects. Google CS is horrid.
Though a $100 Best Buy gift card is better for most people than a $100 Google Store credit, so that's a factor too.

I'm getting $620 trade in value.
My concern is that BB will not take it at the time of pickup in the store due to too much damage.
Should I go with mail in order instead of store pickup and then mail them the trade phone?
Anyone with experience with trading damaged phone at store and what they consider fair damage condition?
Any other advice?

The cost of saying to markets that their Pixel 9 phones flopped is much higher than a few hundred dollars they are giving to us through this deal. They need a good initial sales volume during launch of the new phone. They need it to tell the market, they need this to make these phones relavent, they need this for Youtubers to talk about them, people like you and me talk about them etc. This is just tiny cost of doing business for a $2T+ company.
