09/16 - Chino is still taking ~ 1 week to process trades. A device that was delivered on 09/09 was processed on 09/16 in the morning, there was another report of a device delivered on 09/10 being processed on 09/16 in the afternoon. Kentucky was at ~3 business days (delivered on 09/12, processed in the evening of 09/16)

09/13 - Trade in processing has slowed down, a trade in that was delivered to Chino,
CA on 09/06 wasn't processed until 09/13, representing ~5 business days from delivery to assessment. Kentucky was processing trades faster, with a ~1 business day turnaround reported on 09/12 when the delivery was made on 09/11.

09/05 - Best Buy no longer issues "trade in kits" (boxes with prepaid labels). Once your Pixel 9 Pro is delivered and the Best Buy order status shows delivered (their system lags behind UPS), you'll get an email with the next steps. You need to go into the Order Details page on BB.com, sign in and then you can print a pre-paid UPS label for the trade-in. Save a copy of the tracking number for your records and make sure it gets scanned in to the UPS system when you drop it off.

Trade ins will likely be delivered in bulk, but UPS should still show a delivered scan. IT WILL TAKE TIME FOR THE TRADE INS TO BE PROCESSED, DO NOT FREAK OUT IF IT DOESN'T HAPPEN INSTANTLY. As of 09/04, they were processing trades that were delivered on 08/29 - so at least 4 business days. It WILL take time with the volume of P9P orders and trade ins.

If BB baited you into their "store" with advertised "enhanced" trade in values and then decided to reneg days later, at least, file a FTC complaint

Pixel 9's not currently working with TracFone

The trade-in value will show as the BASE VALUE, but that does not include the promotion value. You will still get the promotion value assuming you were going to get it per your order receipt, so do not worry.

Just an fyi, I had a pixel added to my cart last night. I was able to check out that phone, despite of not able to see the pixel 9 available earlier today. Somehow it let me check out the added device after I stopped seeing the device available when I clicked OP link and after this thread was marked as unvavailable.

It is not even for non payment. I purchased it 100 % paid (discounted, but still 100% paid as listed on the website). It was locked to the ATT carrier and I was using the hack to unlock it and disconnected the service within 14 days.

Does the color of the phone we trade in have to match? I selected Pacific Blue for the trade in device, but my actual trade in is Silver.. does it matter? It wasn't even giving me the option to choose some of the colors when trading in

I'm assuming a future promo when they're released in Sept. Most carriers are giving $830 or better on trade-ins for some very decrepit old iPhones today. I doubt that will change with the iPhone 16.

That being said, I still bit and decided to do the pre-order and trade-in of the iPhone 12 for a Pixel 9. We have a spare Boost SIM we keep in a Pixel 7, we'll pop that in the Pixel 9 and sell the P7 on FB Marketplace.

While agree that monthly credit are not a deal, how many do you really know that change providers even every 5 or 10 years , let alone 2 or 3?

You cannot change the color after ordering. The employee can't change the trade in without canceling.
