90% of morons on this thread will ruin the deal by asking dumb questions to Best Buy and possibly altering them to check trade in phone in details. Just keep your mouth shut when you go there to pick up the phone

They updated the terms of the deal and thus the reduced TIVs. It used to be that multiple phones would qualify for the $1099 TIV, and they gave examples of Apple iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro Max, Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra or Galaxy S23 Ultra. of course, others qualified as well.

https://static.slickdealscdn.com/...783.attach

The updated terms have a static list of qualified phones for the max values:
For Pixel 9, qualifying models include Samsung Galaxy S24+, Galaxy S24 Ultra, and Galaxy S23 Ultra. For Pixel 9 Pro qualifying models include Galaxy S24 Ultra, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. For Pixel 9 Pro XL, qualifying trade-in model includes S24 Ultra.

Seems shady of Beat Buy to update the terms mid-promotion when folks were relying on the terms as they were posted.

What does this mean? They will not offer the enhanced trade-in values for those already ordered?

They let you place multiple orders from one account? I thought they were limiting orders to one per phone type per account.
Metro allows you to get up to two discounted phones per account. I had two accounts (mine, wife's) and got two iphone 11's with each account back in March-April before they blocked further orders. This time I used my brother's name, street address, and card to get the iphone 12's.

Could you post a screenshot of the updated terms? I tried to find it on BB web site but couldn't find it. Is your 1st link pointing to the old or updated terms? That screenshot doesn't say which models qualify for max value when trading-in toward the base Pixel 9. Your 2nd link only points to slickdeals.net .

problem is they might ship those pre order even before sep 4 . So by the time stores have stock, your order will be delivered
The stores are going to have stock 2 weeks out. Just like how they have stock two weeks out of the XL and normal 9.

Please help!! I ordered a pixel 9 pro and purchased an iphone 12 pro 128gb graphite through ebay. When I submitted my trade in I selected the iphone 12 pro 128gb graphite from the drop down and I believe it had a model number of MGLN3LL/A. I just received the iphone 12 pro, I looked in settings and saw that it's model number MGK13LL/A. I've looked up both model numbers and can't find anything different between the two (both same model, same storage, same color). Does anyone foresee any issues for me? I'm considering returning the one I got and specifically purchasing one with the model number I selected.
You can see what the various model numbers mean here:

https://www.techwalls.com/iphone-...fferences/

Best Buy lists the Verizon model as MGLN3LL/A but this is actually the number for the unlocked model. Since Best Buy can't even get their model numbers right, I think we'll be okay.

Yeah, the A2341 number is the only one that matters.

This is the link on that site for iPhone 12 https://www.techwalls.com/iphone-...fferences/ Curiously, it lists MGH63LL/A as Unlocked 64GB Black, and T-mo 64GB Black is MGFL3LL/A. However, the brand-new 64GB Black iPhone 12 that I just got from Metro has MGH63LL/A on the box, and in the phone's info. Best Buy also list 64GB Black iPhone 12 - T-mobile as MGH63LL/A. So, does Metro sell the Unlocked version (I know that it's locked to Metro for 12 months now) that happens to match the part number listed wrong by Best Buy as T-mobile?

These morons missed or don't have simple common sense/logic Mad- just place order, take screen shots showing trade in value/order total etc, if Best buy honors the deal then you got a slick deal otherwise you didn't loose anything and you move on..

I believe Best buy will follow through these orders (with higher TIV), Best buy can't change any part of the order after the fact since they already charged our credit cards.

Only option they have is, cancelling these orders and refund. I am highly doubtful that Best buy/Google will do this since it's not a scenario they would like to go into and deal with it (handling inventory/logistics, negative publicity, dissatisfied customers etc..)

I'm not worrying about issues with trading in. In mid-July I had traded-in a Metro iPhone12 with BB toward a Pixel 8, selected it as T-mo, and had no problems. The BB rep didn't spend much time looking at the details. I was just curious if Metro sells the unlocked version instead of a T-mo version.

Certainly, here ya go (attached)!

The first link pointing to slickdeals contains the old terms, which gives a few examples of phones that will give max value (not inclusive, just examples). The second link was supposed to be for the new terms, though it's all the way at the bottom of the page.
