Note: This item is described as having two 65w ports, but the two ports SHARE 65w - if they are both occupied they will each deliver 30w.

Just a warning to check specs before purchasing. Many PCs will refuse a 65w charge as insufficient. Both of mine require 90s over usbc, and come with 200w rounds from the factory.

I guess what caught my eye is that the title states "2x 65w" - which could reasonably be read as 130w total output, so I thought it appropriate to add a comment to indicate that it is indeed 65w of total available power output.

This item should have been titled as "65w 2x USB-C, 2x USB-A, 3x AC" - the placement of the 2x before the total power output is disingenuous.

It's akin to advertising a 300w UPS battery backup with 4 outlets as a "4x 300w Battery Backup." Seems weird, right?

I thought the whole lowering-the-wattage-on-other-ports thing was the case only if it detects Lightning cable(s) are inserted? Not if only USB-C cables are inserted?
ANY cord. And it gets super goofy when you do C vs A. I also had the 9-1 (just returned it) and that was even more complicated and the AC outlets were sideways which sucked.

But yea with an Anker USB-C in both it splits the wattage regardless of if anything is attached. It's strange and inconvenient and more wear and tear.

I'm using this bedside for phone/watch and have a tiny brick plugged into the back for my smarthome hub. Mainly because if I plug it into the other C my phone gets upset.

Could this be why I feel like the a newer iPad charges so slowly on this? Phones and smaller devices are fine, but they have smaller batteries.

Can this be plugged into a surge protector, or must it be direct into a wall outlet?

That's one power hungry laptop!
Yeah I need at least 100 watts for my Lenovo legion with a 4080 in it...or 135 watts max.

Just so I'm tracking correctly. I was looking at that 9-1 (A91C6). You're saying that even if a cable not attached to a device is plugged into the 9-1 it starts to throttle down the other ports on that circuit? I ask because my intent is to leave 2-3 USB C cables, and 2 USB A's (micro and mini) on in perpetuity so i didn't have to dig out cable if i want to charge something.

They are not very durable for travel, broke 2 last year, the charging ports stop functioning after several travel trips
They're just junk in general. Probably had nothing to do with traveling. The ports on my Anker extension strips all eventually stopped working and they don't move from under my nightstand.

By the way, when is Slickdeals going to start calling themselves an official Anker storefront? It's non-stop Anker 'deals' on this site. It's not a front page must have deal if it's practically always this price. For instance, I just did a search for "Anker 525" and found a deal posted this month, twice last month, three times in May, once in April, twice in March, February, January... literally every month and that's just this specific product.

You can get the white version for the same price without a code:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B3HSJ5NL

Looks like it's been $35.99 for a while too.

Pretty sure this is the standard price of these now. Probably don't need to rush to buy one if not needed now. Price will only continue to lower.
Yeah, I snagged the green one a while ago and got another recently when the price went down again. It's been sitting at 35.99 for over a month now. I love these personally. I've got my MacBook, Gaming PC, monitor, phone, watch, and tablet chargers all running off of one. Dedicated bricks for each device would charge faster, but it's not really an issue for me. These are the best looking power strips I own, the green one is even prettier in person.
