I bought the DJI Ronin-SC for a similar price a while back, and it's been solid. It handles well and really smooths out my shots. If you're looking for a decent gimbal, this deal is worth considering.
Anyone considering the RSC2, if you don't need the extra 2lbs weight capability, consider the RSC 3-mini which is retailing new for $279 (buy from B&H with their payboo card for no tax).
I've had the RSC2 and the 3-mini with a Sony A7iii camera with various prime lens without issue (as 4.4lb payload is enough for me) and has been a great upgrade! I've seen since sold the 2 as the 3-mini is easier to take with you on vacation, run and gun. The larger screen touch-screen allows easier changes to settings and adjustments, stabilization is slightly improved, packs smaller, and the Bluetooth connection to the camera is literally flawless to connect so we no longer use cables as with the 2 as it's that reliable for us, also the stabilizer seems to have less moments of freak out, etc. And we never used the briefcase style that v2 was designed around other than the first day or purchase which is why DJI removed that design in v3. If you need to occasionally briefcase shoot, you can buy a handle for that from smallrig (their eBay store typically has best price).
Pro-Tip: For those with Peak Design plate or any acra-swiss plate, smallrig has a QR baseplate (4195)
Which model would be good for my Sony 6400 mirrorless?
The RSC 3-mini[bhphotovideo.com]as weight isn't a problem for you and will be compact to compliment your compact mirrorless camera ...assuming you're not using some heavy large 200mm lens. You're getting the v3 stabilizer algorithms in a smaller & lighter form.
Be careful with dji batteries. If not charged or cycled the battery will die and not hold a charge. DJI programmed the battery this way. I had a battery not charged for a year and now it dead weight. The shocking thing is DJI programmed the battery to do this. Shady af

What's your evidence? Not charging a Li-ion battery for a year can result in a dead cell depending on how it was stored and a BMS fuse set to prevent use for safety reasons. Charging a dead Li-ion battery can result in fires.
Everyone, but the first generation SC would work to connect. The 2nd generation requires a wired connection to the gimbal for the added features (video record, photo, etc from the gimbal), with 3rd gen allowing a bluetooth compatible for wireless connection also (and works well).
My personal reco, unless you're a professional needing to pull focus or its added accessories or swap batteries, lidar, you don't need the Pro. Unless you need the extra weight of 6.6lbs then go with the 2, 3 or 4th gen non-Pro. If 4.4lbs is enough and the extra in the non-mini isn't required, the 3 Mini for $279 new is a better fit imo and what I use for the a7iii with my prime lens and the reduced weight and size makes it great. It's the best value ronin at the moment for the price if you don't need pro-features.
