short answer yes

long answer different carriers have different radio frequency zones called "bands" allocated to them by the various authorities, thus you match your phone to those frequency "bands" and if your phone has the right bands it can talk to the cell phone towers that use those bands. This is technical, exact model number is Samsung S146VL - Galaxy A14 5G 2023 (there are multiple versions of the A14 for different carriers and US vs non US) here are all the fancy technical bands it supports which is greek to most people (including me even if I can parse it after sorted.)

Supported Frequency Bands (30) https://www.frequencycheck.com/mo...id=2706927

GSM aka 2g

850 MHz GSM
900 MHz (E-GSM) GSM
1800 MHz (DCS) GSM
1900 MHz (PCS) GSM

UMTS a form of 3G

B1 (2100 MHz) UMTS
B2 (1900 MHz PCS) UMTS
B4 (1700/2100 MHz AWS 1) UMTS
B5 (850 MHz) UMTS
B8 (900 MHz GSM) UMTS

LTE
B1 (2100 MHz) LTE
B2 (1900 MHz PCS) LTE
B3 (1800 MHz +) LTE
B4 (1700/2100 MHz AWS 1) LTE
B5 (850 MHz) LTE
B7 (2600 MHz) LTE
B12 (700 MHz ac) LTE
B13 (700 MHz c) LTE
B20 (800 MHz DD) LTE
B28 (700 MHz APT) LTE
B38 (TD 2600 MHz) LTE
B39 (TD 1900 MHz +) LTE
B40 (TD 2300 MHz) LTE
B41 (TD 2500 MHz) LTE
B48 (TD 3600 MHz) LTE
B66 (1700/2100 MHz) LTE
5G NR

N2 (1900 MHz)
N5 (850 MHz)
N66 (1700/2100 MHz)
N77 (3700 MHz)
N78 (3500 MHz)

for example this will work on Tracfone, Verizon (after unlock) and T-Mobile (after Unlock)

But while it will work on T-Mobile it lacks the bands that T-Mobile uses for its 5g for T-Mobile uses bands 71, 41, and 258, 260 and 261 with its 5g so it is not a great T-Mobile phone even if it works great for Tracfone and Verizon.

DW ordered one and later wished she had ordered the pink case, so we called to see if they could change the order. When the CSR made the change on her end, it took away the promo code and wouldn't let her add it back in because the system now says that the DW is not a new customer because she made that one original order. The CSR was very pleasant and spent a considerable time trying to get the $30 discount back. The bottom line is that she deleted the bandana "filler" and just adjusted the price of the phone to get the total with tax back to what it was in the original order. She could have said tough luck, no can do. But she went the extra mile to make the DW happy. Kudos and thanks to that CSR. I'm telling this story because far too often good customer service is non-existant, and when someone within a company goes over and above to take care of a customer, their efforts should not go unheard. We're quick to jump when we get screwed, but often we don't speak up when we're well taken care of.

Thank you to the QVC CSR.

Folks, just a heads up -- the "1500 Talk/Text/Data" isn't per month, it's for the entire year. It works out to about 4 minutes/4 texts/4mb data per day.

Does it comes with a new number right? I don't need to pass my actual number?
Yes, you can activate it by getting a new phone number. No port-in required.

The last Samsung phone I got in one of these deals was absolutely unusable. Even after stripping every possible piece of bloatware from the phone it was still painfully slow.
You probably got an A03s.

Please let me know if anyone knows if this phone can be used in Canada. thanks,
I don't see why not. Pretty sure it has all the required LTE bands. Not sure about 5G. You are going to have to activate it in the states and wait 60 days for it to unlock. In the meantime you can have it in airplane mode with Wi-Fi calling enabled.

Has anyone transferring from another carrier to Tracfone ever had Tracfone not ask for the previous carriers transfer pin? I went though the entire process on Tracfone's website and they never asked for my Xfinity Mobile transfer pin.

1. Yes. phone will be unlocked 60 days after activation. (Text UNLOCK to 611611 (sometimes twice) and it will respond with a date the phone is eligible for unlock. It may be eligible for remote unlock otherwise go to the TFW Unlock Portal [tfwunlockpolicy.com] to request unlock codes.)
2. No, you pay for a year of service with 1500 TTD. Once the buckets run out, you can buy more from TF directly (expensive) or buy similar deals to extend the service and add TTD.
3. Most likely yes, after unlock.
4. Yes, if it supports the bands used in other countries.
Oh my gawd. You're the best SDERs ever. I can't thank u enough. Getting this tonight for my grandparents. Just need a phone for them for calls, social media app, and text. You're the best.

This Samsung Galaxy A14 5G only works with 5G or it also works with 3G and 4G?
3G, 2G are already disabled by Verizon, AT&T and TMO

I bought it but Tracfone is asking for a 15-digit service card PIN. I have no idea where this is.

Did you buy this bundle from QVC? It's rare, but if it happens, you need to contact QVC for replacement as the service may not have been loaded to the phone/IMEI/SIM. (more reason to activate it within the return window to make sure both phone and service work.)

Good idea. Do you sell the phone right away or after unlock (60 days+)?

Not necessarily. One thing Tracfone is good good at is inconsistency. I got the same bundle from QVC and the A13 5G did come unlocked. However, the A13 5G phone I got directly from Tracfone (non-bundle) came locked. It didn't get unlocked remotely and I needed to enter 2 unlock codes 60+ days after activation. (TFW Unlock Portal said unlocked, but dialing #83865625# asked for codes. Fortunately CS at the TF Unlocking Dept. were able to provide the codes over the phone.)

Try entering the IMEI number. The numbers on the red card are the IMEI, which is 15 digits, and the SIM card number.

Thank you for not being another Pixel 9 deal. Just too many of those lately.
There is a reason why both phones have slickdeals on them. Junk!

Many users do it all the time and have been doing it for years. Recommend using the new phone for 60 days (before switching to another phone) so it unlocks from Tracfone and then it can be used on other networks.
actually you don't have to do that. Transfer in then transfer out, the phone unlocks itself.
