I got this in the past on more than one occasion, most recently in 2020-2021. The price is fantastic, but I found the park to be poorly managed in terms of lines and traffic, sometimes taking an hour or more (more than two hours, in one case) just to get from the road into the park. Still worth it if you plan to go multiple times, but most of my visits left me not wanting to return.

I went to hurricane harbor once and it might be one of the worst places I've ever been to. I would literally not go again even if the tickets were free.

They basically tighten the screws on the consumer a little bit more every year. Every year the deal is a little bit worse.

I've been getting passes to SFGA for a while now. The value is insane and Great Adventure has some of the best coasters in the world. This is a no brainer if you live close enough to do more than 1 day trip there.

They used to include Six Flags New England under the same Unlimited Access. Either way…if you bought NE, you also got NJ, and vice versa. Do they not do that any more?

I went to Six flags and Hurricane Harbor in separate occasions last month and can confirm that they are milking as much money out of the consumers as possible. Parking is $50 and entry per person has gone up. It actually made more sense to purchase a seasons pass and Purchase a discounted ticket as a seasons pass holder than it is to buy two tickets and pay for parking. Lines were long, but not as bad as Disney. Food is actually pretty good now. They're moving away from the looney toons theme and focusing more on DC comics. One thing I noticed is that they need more attendants working the rides to keep things moving.

Hurricane harbor is terrible unless you have money to spend on a Cabana. I think they purposely reduced the amount of seating and tubes available in order to force people to rent a seat or a tube. Rides were OK, but it gets real crowded.

Dang, that is a lot of complaining. If you don't like six flags, hit the back arrow and move on with your life.

For anyone reading the negative comments and debating whether to get it: this is a "slick" deal and justifies being posted. Six flags great adventure might get crowded during the summer, but what popular destination doesn't? Have any of you gone to the shore?! You can barely walk the boardwalk in most towns.

Six flags great adventure is awesome. The crowds before memorial day are non existent. You can basically ride everything a million times. And then during peak summer, go in the late afternoon/evening for a couple hours. Free parking, less crowd, hit up the newly built taco bell outside the park on your way home. Is there a worse way to spend your summer?

Also, I've noticed that six flags actually makes an effort to develop new rides to keep folks excited about the park. They do make an effort to keep it clean and all that jazz. My toddler enjoys it, he's happy. Whats not to like?

Half the rides at SFGA are closed because they don't have enough staff to operate them. The park was way better 10-20 years ago.

Yeah. U spend a hour in line just to ride a 5 minute ride.

Best time to go is on Wednesday

Fright Fest is the only thing worth going to imo.

I've had season tickets there before and the walk from the parking lot to the front gate is enough to keep me away. Especially since after you walk 2 miles on the hot ass black top only to see 1000+ open parking spaces by the entrance "reserved" for emerald platinum members or whatever. It's honestly egregious

I don't know what the "normal" cost on this is, it shows $79 crossed out, but it also says:
"Become a Gold Member for only $6.99/mo after initial payment of $20 due today, plus applicable taxes & fees."

So if you don't want the pass for the few remaining days of this year it seems you could get a pass for 3 months next summer for about $20+3x7 = $41. But maybe they don't offer the monthly option at the start of the summer?

Also I can't find definite info on "bring a friend" ticket cost but it seems to be $30 or maybe $20 for certain dates, whereas single day tickets are only $30 right now, not sure if that is normally more mid-summer.

Same. Never again. I'd rather sit in a Cat 5 Hurricane than be stewed around with the trash that seeps into that park.

You have to commit to a year and you pay year-round even when the parks are closed from JAN-mid MAR. This approach is kind of merging their membership plan and their flex pay feature.

Historically, Labor Day has the best prices on passes and then Black Friday. I believe last year I got the (now extinct) Platinum pass for the price of Gold @ $70. Who knows what next year will bring as SF management has been atrocious to put it kindly. Even the passes you are looking at now have already changed as they apparently took away Preferred Parking from Prestige which was there when these first rolled out. I've been to Great Adventure about 4x this year and while I am loving the generally low crowds, the park is severely mismanaged and shows what a mess the company got themselves in. Been going for decades and this is probably the worst it has been. The front line staff are amazing, though.

Last time I went the entrance was like clearing TSA. Long lines with metal detectors and body scans. At least at Disney world they use Mickey gloves.

No longer. They've been using the Evolv scanners for years now. If you don't have bags/strollers and crap, it takes seconds now. Just keep walking..
