Good fan, moves a large amount of air.
I have one running in the garage 24/7 and it uses about 1.75 kwh per day on the lowest setting in case anybody was wondering about its energy usage.

A dehumidifier would prob do a much better job at keeping the place comfortable if it's not that hot.
A dehumidifier actually generates heat. It reduces the humidity which makes it feel cooler.

I wonder if dewalt plans to take this exact fan and turn it into corded/ cordless model. I would def like that. Especially since milwaukee got a bigger fan and all now

Might as well run an A/C at that point. Dehumidifiers are just A/Cs that blow warm air off the condenser coils instead of cold off the evap coil.

The following implies that no cooler outside air is being blown into a room and that hot inside air is not being blown out of the room.
.
A fan does NOT cool the air. You can leave a fan running 24/7/365 and it will NOT cool the air.
.
An Air Conditioner cools the air.
.
The purpose of a fan is to move the air past a person and allow the heat of the person to be blown away resulting in the person feeling cooler.
.
A fan can also cause the temperature of a room to be more consistent by moving hot air close to the ceiling towards the floor which will be cooler.

Not completely correct - air blowing on a person cools through heat transfer via perspiration evaporation. Forcing cooler air into a space during cooler times in the morning then trapping that cool air during the day is somewhat different (less efficient than evaporation heat transfer) but still cheaper than running AC.

What I said is completely correct. Air blowing on a person cools the person. I also stated that my assumption was based on no air entering or leaving the room. You agreed with me, you just did not read my comments.

Air blowing on someone who is dehydrated will not cool them. I don't know how else to say you were not completely correct. Physics. But otherwise agreed it is funny people leave fans on in unoccupied enclosed spaces…insert global warming and bad consumer jokes here.

Here is an AI response that mentions your evaporation cooling as well as my convection cooling.

"Fans cool people down by moving air around, which replaces warm air near your skin with cooler air. This process is called convection and helps your body lose heat. The fan also creates a breeze that helps your sweat evaporate, which is another way your body cools down. "

lol well good thing AI isn't designing power plants. I guess evolution probably jumped the gun on us hairless monkeys sweating so much too…

I think that people can reduce their temperature with convection or evaporation. It's just that evaporation is more efficient at high ambiant temperatures. If the temps are close to your body temperature, convection isn't going to cool you any measurable amount. If it's below zero, convection cooling will work really well. Pretty sure we insulate in the winter to reduce convection cooling.
