Might not work for you but in some setups it's great to not have a cord hanging on the counter or for travel

When constantly plugged in while traveling through airports, planes, rental cars, ubers and hotels, a retractable cable is a godsend.

If you've tried one and liked it, you'll like this one. I wish there was a retractable cable where the enclosure could stay to one side versus staying in the center, bouncing around and weighing things down.

I would imagine this thing "hangs" more because all the cable mass is concentrated in that disc + the weight of the disc and the retracting mechanism.

I've bought two from a different brand baseus I believe and both have worked well. Great for travel or if you don't like cables hanging everywhere. If you think you might like it try it, obviously it can be returned. Just saying.

This claims to be 240w. Longer cables reduce output amps. That's probably why this cable is so short. As for retractable I love any length retractable, think of it like a snail shell for the cable, convenience. This would be handy cable to have for charging a modern laptop with USB c charging.
