Thanks for the compilation of wild assumptions. I'm sure that will help lots of people make educated decisions

BTW, wait until you find out where the real Gorilla Carts are manufactured LMAO2

For some constructive feedback regarding this product:
-Will it hold dirt regardless of brand name or company of manufacture? Yes!
-Does it have a way to connect to a lawn mower, like the Gorilla Cart, so you can use it like a garden trailer (might be important to some people)? No!
-Is the dump release handle in a really dangerous place like the Gorilla cart? No!
-If you are unhappy with the product can you return to HD for a full refund? Yes!
-Is screaming "cHiNa" ever productive on SlickDeal? No!

Gorilla Carts is a Minnesota-based company that designs all of its products in the United States. However, Gorilla Carts' products are manufactured in China.

It's 2024 and you still fluff about this stuff, everyone knows just about everything is manufactured in China, both GOOD and BAD stuff. The bad stuff gets the notoriety and attention from people like you. The good stuff is probably fantasized to be manufactured in the US by peoople like you too lol. The chinese are no dummy, they will charge accordingly with the quality and materials and workers at hand, this aint 2002. You willl pay for it. The chinese dont put the price on items you buy, the US sellers do. Enough said.

I equate Vevor to Harbor Freight. They have some trash and some good stuff. The Dyson knockoff hair dryer for $17 is great. I also got a 12v inverter that's not so great.

Regardless of where this comes from and who makes it, this is the work of the Home Depot buying department who sourced this and put it into their stores. The question really is, can you trust Home Depot to have done their job to review it before they put it through their system and to stand behind it? Everyone can answer that question for themself based upon their own experience.

Yes for reference Snap on Tools and Harbor Freight tools are manufactured in the same building. Different specs and parts. Yet very possible the same level of worker.

If this is similar to the Gorilla the tires stink! Five years later if I put my Gorilla in the van it's very apparent. When new it was BAD! and I'm not sensitive to such things. If it's out in the garage, noticeable but not overpowering. Other than that I like it. If kept outside drill a couple holes for drainage unless moving wet stuffs.

I've been disappointed with Gorilla carts for years (love the ladders!). I still use mine, but all the hardware was rusty within a month when stored outside. The listed capacity is great, but the floppy sides mean you can't practically carry much. It also lacks any brakes so it can just roll away unless you cock the wheels just right. Really no gains over a wheelbarrow unless you have mobility limitations that would prevent wheelbarrow use. It works okay on flat ground as a gardening cart, though.

That said, glad to see some cheaper options!

Vevor is actually not that bad. Depends on what you get. If it's nonelectronic then it's fine. It's not the best quality but decent. For the price it's a deal.

Having bought some LED light fixtures from HD in the past that have a nasty 60hz flicker to them... can HD's selection process be blindly trusted? Absolutely not.

I'm pretty happy with my gorilla cart, but FWIW... when towing, don't expect either of them to be able to back up gracefully due to the pivoting front axle.

Where did you get the knock off for $17? I only see it for $69. TIA.

Found the deal at TechBargs in June but it was Amazon order. There are two versions of the dryer, The more spendy one is $25 right now and has digital temp readout and such. Lower one is $21 at Vevor. I like it mostly because it's much more quiet than our Conair but moves a lot of air so kids tolerate it better.
