The ram may not be upgradeable but overall you are right. It's DDR 4 vs 5w which probably makes less a difference than the processor which is higher than the acer one. The body is plastic etc. It is in black color though which I like

Considering HP works in occupied territories is one reason I wouldn't buy this.
