I have the whole series on DVD with captioning but if the digital has it I'll snap up.
FANDANGO at HOME, It's 2024, get with the program and include Closed captioning.

In particular, how good is the SD streaming quality/compression?
If the streaming quality is at least as good as the DVDs, it could be worth buying for existing DVD owners to not have to put the DVDs in the player and wade through the menu. If the quality is worse than the DVDs due to over-compression, then sticking with the DVDs would be better. IIRC the DVDs do not have unskippable previews before the menu. However, on this site you usually just get the deal posted and a mix of posts about how good or bad the deal is and rarely any useful detailed reviews. This series is so old I think everyone who was alive during the 80's has seen some episodes. They're all roughly the same. I think there were studies saying that people lost IQ points by watching this series, but it's a good way to switch off your brain.
