This site has really dropped in quality price wise. The few yard tools I have been looking at for Ryobi haven't been included in sales for 8+ months and tools from rigid have vanished from the site

$299 at Direct Tools or $469 at Home Depot. Where's the joke?

It's a leaf blower/vacuum with a harness, 40v charger, and two 4ah 40v batteries.

A 2-pack of those batteries at Home Depot costs as much as the whole kit at Direct Tools.

I'm looking at a 7 1/4 miter corded miter saw (already have one need a second) and can't decide if the $85 factory blemished is worth $20 more than the $65 factory reconditioned.
Never bought from here before. I will be cutting aluminum with it and making a mess of it first time I use it. Any input?

Is it worth it to get a cheap pressure washer here for $70 vs $100 from HD? I think it's 1yr vs 3yr warranty? How good are their factory reconditioned?

I think you're referring to when https://threadreaderapp.com/threa...84418.html these guys started publishing data in an attempt to affect the stock price. It's been over a year and DTO has never returned to the days of having hundreds of Factory Blemished Ridgid tools available on the website with virtually unlimited inventory. That ship has sailed.

It's 2.5 hours to the nearest DTO for me, so i haven't checked it in person, but a few people have mentioned that they still have plenty of the Ridgid Factory Blems on the shelves in the store. When asked, the employees at DTO say they don't know why those products aren't on the website anymore. I think it is so that Home Depot gets to keep some exclusivity of new Ridgid tools and TTI still gets to sell them on the side as Blems, they just decided to be less obvious about it.
The DTO near me (San Diego) sells blemished Rigid at near Home Depot prices. Nothing close to the deals of old.

They have a 64 oz bottle of Hoover carpet cleaning solution for $5 dollars. Everywhere else appears to sell it for about $22.

I can't speak for cutting aluminum with it, but when i bought the 10 inch corded miter saw reconditioned it came in a generic cardboard box with some brown paper for "protection". Every factory blemished ive purchased came new in a ryobi box.

Extra 20 seems worth it for something that definitely wont have wear/tear and possible debris. AND avoid the potential hassle of something that arrives unusable.

Yeah, once some of the Hart brand stuff came out looking exactly like the Ryobi but with different batteries and Voltages, I knew the score. Lol. Massive multinational conglomerates own everything.

I can't speak to most Hart stuff, but they appear decent. I do own a Hart 40v self propelled lawnmower. My old gas one crapped out at end of summer 3 years ago. I found theis at a WalMart at end of season for a little under 2 hundred with a 6 amp battery and decided to risk it. I bought a second 5 amp battery for a hundred. I will be at end of 2nd full summer soon and couldn't be happier. Same mower is selling for about 4 hundred today. It cuts better than my gas one did. So if the rest of their line up is equal in quality, they are likely ok. The DTO sales should be watched closely. Some things I have been looking at for Ryobi are actually higher than HD. I have also found some decent deals at times. Do your research on pricing beforehand. I did get a 6 inch buffer for 26 bucks that I have been eyeing at HD for 45, so there are some deals. I only buy in store or on free ship days.

Ive only bought smaller recon things and they were packed as well as blems, but imo you are at the mercy of ups/fedex more than anything else. If you buy a recon, make sure you use it right away so if anything goes wrong you find out before the return period is over.

Thanks for your opinion
Have you ever used a real table saw before?

Pretty much any table saw deal that has been posted on Slickdeals will be better quality than Ryobi: Skil, DeWalt, Delta, Kobalt, Ridgid, Bosch.

I snagged one of those 8 1/4" Ryobi saws last year when they were $50. For $50, I can't complain. But for $200 as a SlickDealer, I get to complain.

And I have like 20 other Ryobi tools, so I'm not hating on the brand.

Ryobi tools are non-existent and nothing is available to ship. Depressing.
