I've been watching this for *months* waiting for it to go on sale. It's been $40 all year just about. I could have purchased it any day, there's never been a stock issue with this item. I was literally checking twice a day, almost daily. Then a couple of weeks ago, it finally goes on sale for $30, exactly what I was waiting for. "Out of stock" immediately, I didn't even have a chance.
Sale ends that night, and the next day it's magically back in stock again at $40.
So $40 is the normal price, $30 is the sale price, and they only put a limited number of copies on sale. They have plenty of this item.
