I'm seeing the same mix of OOS and full price in the online listing. Is "In-Store Only" on this intended to mean that it will be available at that price where in stock, or is this a giant YMMV? Costco is no trivial neighborhood jaunt for me, but I'd like to grab one of these cots for rafting.

For any of these .97 IN STORE ONLY Costco posts is a huge YMMV. I am in mid Michigan and my store got rid of their camping stuff early this year. At least a month ago.

No consistency of stock or prices to anywhere else and no indicator from the OP which store this was at.

If this is the same USFS one they sold a few years ago, it is very hard to get the 2nd end bar on. There's actually a video on it online.

Same in Colorado. The cascade mountain tech camping chairs went on sale for $20. I was lucky and scored two and then another that was missing the box and packaging for $10. Same chairs are $62 on Amazon without the cup holder the costco ones had the cup holder so I got all three cheaper than one chair normally.

Definitely going to keep a closer eye out on them closing that stuff out next year I figured with how popular camping is in Colorado that they wouldn't have closed that stuff out so early. All the camping stuff was gone by like late July.

Gotta stand it on end and use the cot as a giant lever to pop it onto the bar. Once you learn this method it is so easy. This is why the bars are asymmetrical and one side is extended out more.

Your very welcome...I have 4 of these cots as well that I love quite a bit as we use it in all our camping trips paired with self inflating mattress...

On a separate note, none of the Costco around me in NorCal have these in stock...I was told by the manager that this is a seasonal item and they don't keep it past May/June timeframe; and that they are bringing in the holiday stuff now.
