It's a good game for everyone, no violence, very kid friendly. Pretty much a designer game if she is into that.

Besides that, the Switch is now 7 years old. The largest gap between Nintendo console releases so far has been 6 years. They are more than overdue for a new console.
So there is more than enough evidence at this point to confidently say that it'll be released before the end of 2025.

And yes, the Animal Crossing game is digitally tied to the handheld, there's no code.
It's a good game for everyone, no violence, very kid friendly. Pretty much a designer game if she is into that.

Exactly. At $100 the console will essentially retain its value forever. Look at 3DS prices for an example.
