I have owned this unit for about 10 years. Is it perfect ... no. Is it useful ... very much so. I use this to clean car interiors as I have no carpets in my house.

How useful is this? It seems to be just a vacuum hose with a spray nozzle and a non-notorized brush?

Useful if you don't have a wet vac, redundant if you do. I have this and its great for spot treatment, but it doesn't have enough suction to properly remove the moisture on its own, especially if the item is foam-backed like most furniture and car seats.
