This is the lowest the Sheepdog and Drop Bear with clutch lock have ever been, both HIGHLY recommended by myself. Tired of seeing those Kershaw deals hit front page when every one of these are infinitely better knives & materials . They have also been doing flash sales 60% off basically monthly. tmThey aren't getting posted here on SD often but they publish the schedule for their flash sales on their IG page

This is asinine. A pocket knife is the single most useful tool a man can own.

You would be surprised how useful a pocket knife is.

Agreed. Some folks just won't consider a knife that is over $25 or a brand they haven't seen in Walmart. If you are looking to move beyond budget Kershaw quality, and them covering for their poorly tuned folding actions with their SpeedSafe assisted opening, any of these Kizer knives that keep getting put on sale are a great place to start.

I only got my first Kizer a few months ago. It's is a Cliff in 9Cr18MoV that Kizer put on sale for $19.99 with free shipping. Fantastic manual thumb stud flipper action, great 3.5" blade and really solid build. Deals like that make it hard to buy a budget Kershaw in 8Cr.

I was interested in picking up a Genie and Elgon. Unfortunately, both are sold out. Begleiters are great but I have so many already. They were actually cheaper a couple months ago when they were on sale specifically. Well, the XL were cheaper anyway, $61.50. The regular button locks were still $42.

I see some knives on Ebayfor the same price with free shipping even for single knife (f.e. from this seller https://www.ebay.com/str/mojaveoutdoor). On site from post you need 100 order to get free shipping.

I bought a couple to try for ~$40. Wish I had seen that they were on sale on Amazon. With the regular prices, you can buy higher-end Kershaw knives.

He might mean the style of blade. I'm frankly stumped on why I would want this shape of blade myself.

These knives are made in China. Yes, that matters to me.

Drop Bear is the best bang for your buck Clutch lock EDC knife out there (improved on Benchmades Axis Lock). Sheepdog is fantastic if you like a bigger broad blade. Mini Roach is fantastic, Mad Tanto for button lock. Can't go wrong with any of these, I own 20+ Kizer knives
