In my opinion better, you can tip it over and it doesn't leak as much. The straw is also rubbery and flexible so it's a lot more pleasant to drink when you're driving (less likely to stab yourself). The 32oz is also a lot more reasonable than the 40oz. Overall just really liking the hydroflask more than the Stanley. Also kept my drink cold for hours.

Costco also has hydroflask 2packs in store. Forget price but it wasn't much more than the thermoflask.
