I disagree. They are labeled straightforwardly, simply broken down and there aren't DOZENS. I counted 19 unique products on their website including compounds and polish. Products are similarly labeled like other major manufacturer like Meguiars.

Products that have "Black" for example are best used on dark colored paint.
Hard paste = original stuff for the Boomers and Gen X.
Wet wax used on wet cars.
Ceramic are usually SiO2 or SiC based.
Graphene are carbon based and newer tech.
Application processes are different, Paste vs Spray.

All the sprays (and pastes) work pretty similarly, so grab whatever is on sale. I generally grab the wet wax to save a bit of time.

Sure, you just explained how to apply this particular product -- but OP said their "list of products" was confusing -- not confused on how to apply this one.

If I had to guess, the confusion arises from their (seemingly) dozens of Turtle Wax products with "graphene" and "ceramic" and whatever other buzz-word on their label that come in spray and gel and paste forms -- and how they overlap and/or relate to one another.

Turtle wax product lineup is one of the most confusing lists of products.

Or just trust science and wait until enough comprehensive studies have been shown. The irony in this discussion is that this product doesn't have enough graphene in it to make it more effective. At such a low concentration any benefit would be practically undetectable.
"Trust science" isn't necessarily compatible use it until it's proven problematic—that's kind of the opposite, particularly in a system that has limited regulatory and testing requirements.

I prefer verify before trust.

Verify all you want. No need for you to use it. Scientific studies haven't shown abject harm in limited small exposure cases yet. Let's just not fear monger when there isn't enough evidence to claim there is a high potential for harm. As I pointed out in the beginning, we have scientific proof of microplastics causing harm and you are wearing them now.

Boomer here. I've been polishing and waxing two cars for the last 20 years and tried lots of products, goal was speed, convenience, and durability. For the last 10 years or so I've been a big fan of these Turtle Wax products but just last year switched to a somewhat popular, heavily marketed brand instead. For the wax I'm using a hybrid polymer + montan wax which lasts a VERY long time, can still see the water beading and sheeting four months later, after being parked in the sun. This turtle wax was great for me but after two months it seemed to be gone.

My point? This TW graphene stuff is pretty decent but don't be afraid to try other stuff and see what works for you, your car and climate.

Agreed. Once again someone comes into the thread with no info about the product. Just complains about the contents of the product. This isn't an environmental forum. Its a deal forum. Nobody cares what you think about the effect of this product, especially when there isn't enough data to support your concerns... If you have personal exeperience with its effectiveness in polishing a car, please let us know.

Sick and tried of folks TCing on SD's for no good reason. Go to Reddit and do that stuff...

Generally thought of as overpriced and a marketing company, but if you can score their stuff at a decent discount, then you're getting a reasonable bang for your buck. I use their ceramic wheel spray and I've heard good things about their butter wax and leather conditioner. Like anything else, don't pay full retail.

Edit to add that brands like Adam's, griots, car pro seem to get more praise for their products if you're going to spend more than TW money.

Im going to layer graphene on top of ceramic, on top of wax.
I can't tell if you are being serious or sarcastic. That's a lot of work, but if it's a great way to apply wax protectants that provide superior protection then that's great and it's worth the effort.

Possibly the worst thread comments I have read in a long time.

This is an awesome product, made by one of the most progressive companies in the industry, sold by one of the most reputable sellers, at a crazy good price. Check camelcamelcamel. In for one.

For the lazy and for those without internet access: Graphene products>ceramic products>wax products

All this foolish discussion on the safety of graphene, in solution, by non-scientists and non-medical professionals is simply that: talk for fools.

However, drinking, or inhaling, large quantities of any car care product is probably not recommended. Smilie

You wear plastic clothes and wash them in drinking water therefore contributing the most to microplastics and now graphene is a concern?

I like how you worded this. You have a good point

Graphene is dark. The product would have to be black to have enough graphene in it to actually have an effect. This product may work great, but it won't come from the graphene content.
This is completely untrue. Can be colorless or a bunch of different colors lmao.
