TCL QM8 is comparable to Bravia 9 with a bit worse processing which shouldn't matter much with high quality sources.

I have 7 Sony tvs from the 90s up to 2010 and all still work. 1 has been in a sun room 30 yards from a river that we use irregularly so it is not conditioned. Sees temps from the teens to low 100s. Bought it in 2009 and it still works. Wonder how TCL and Hisense will stack up in the future? A pretty picture is cool but not if it dies quickly.
