If you don't need a pitcher, Costco has 4 elite filters for $37.50 until 8/25/2024

I also am in for 3. The Smart Light filter change indicator is a big plus on these.

Check the casing of this particular Brita model when it arrives. I bought this on the last deal and a small piece of the container along the top broke off during shipping and came loose only after I removed the lid for the first time.

Three for me as well! The handle on my older one started to crack and I've been using the elite filter for a while. Thanks!

Great price, the elite filter is much better than the standard one (not just in terms of 6 months vs 2 months)

I have heard that these now have an open "spout", so things can get into the "clean" water though?

Anyone know how the indicator light works? Does it actually check the water quality in some way?

I currently have a Brita with an indicator light but I dunno if it actually works since I've had the same filter since January and it still shows up as being fine. I live by myself and am often out so it's not like it gets used a lot but also, I feel like the filter lasting almost 8 months is quite a while more than I'd expect.

Black hides the mold and grime which these things get if you don't wash them. ...In for one.

I believe it's based on time. Short press sets it at 2 months, long press at 8. As t least on the counter ones. Doesn't connect to water at all

While I was debating whether or not to buy this Brita pitcher, it sold out....
