If I am not mistaken, around $5 per pound for walnuts/pecans, Almonds, cashews, (and the other nut, I can't remember the name) is generally considered a deal? This is over $7 per pound. Also, you can get quality ones at Wholesale foods for this price

Costco is $6.50 per pound, but comes in a 2# package

I just looked at my receipt dated 8-2 and they were $9.39 for 2 pounds. But like everything else, I'm sure they went up in price. The 3 pound bag of walnuts was $7.99. In any event, thanks. I only go once per month so I'll stock up if they're the price I paid. They freeze well.
