Assemble this thing together but don't tighten anything. Now that you know you've made no mistakes while assembling it take apart parks and glue them with epoxy. Do This while the parts are noon clean. The amount of glue that will not be seen oozing out it's plenty.
Stands will become super strong single parts. They will probably never fall apart. if you move you'll have to move them as single pieces which is what you want a strong thing worth moving
Also, with epoxy, you would have to scuff the glossy paint with sandpaper. If you epoxy two pieces of glossy painted metal, the epoxy won't bite into the part, and the epoxy will also fail.
You've created a false sense of security with the epoxy.
Only real way to strength this product would be get 2 pieces of angle iron (or some kind of plate stock), and weld it to the frame to create two "triangles" for the legs, instead of the two open 70% angles. To the front part where it leans over. So it doesn't collapse over on itself.
Example, look at this:

See those little triangles of metal on the legs. You would need to weld two short pieces on the legs to make those triangles.
Good form for picking up something heavy from the wall tells us we should squat down and lift with our legs. That's hard to do when the dumbbells are up against the wall.
Yes my 1090's fit.

The risk of hurting your back from constantly picking up dumbbells from the floor are high. There's a reason why the dumbbells are on the racks in the gym.
