Hey, it's $69. Slick in my book!

This $69 sale price is $20.40 lower than the August 2023 Frontpage deal.

I have a few chrome socket sets... looking back though, it would probably be better to just get impact rated socket from the start.

Any reason to get non-impact rated sockets if cost is the same?

They will not fit in some tight fit locations because they are so thick.

Get both, they each have their place. I default to chrome unless I'm doing stuff that requires 100+ ft/lbs on assembly.

So tempting because this set has the 6 point sockets. But I don't really need another full set...... do I?

Certainly is slick, their site says $700 value! ( I guess they value these tools more than they value their honesty!)

I do think it's a good deal though.

Wish this had a case.. I have a 150 Craftsman set that I use mostly at home but really want a set that stays in my g/fs POS Chevy Cruze for when it breaks down next. This time it was on the PA turnpike an hour and a half away from home. Had to go back 2 days later with a bunch of tools and work on it in a parking lot. Figured I'd get a socket set and then a small toolbox to throw some other stuff in and let it live in her trunk.

Mostly 12 point crap. The Dewalt set was all 6 point at about the same price minus some of the little things this one has. The Dewalt will come back again next year.

No but if you're not using an impact it shouldn't matter
