This deal actually does work on their custom items: I bought a pair of custom Chuck 70 Lows and it applied to it on checkout! Sweet!

Have these shoes become more comfortable? I did a Kung Fury costume and walking around the convention in this red converse wasn't fun.

How long ago was that? I have broken both my feet and get wides whenever possible. I bought a pair of the run star hikes and they've been Awesome comfortable.... especially if you get the ones that have like a nylon/rayon kind of material. Unlike the regular canvas material they're a little thinner/cooler and have more flex to fit your feet well

Ummmmm...5 years ago? I pretty much haven't worn them since the convention. They're just red Chuck Taylors. It isn't the initial fit, it's the lack of cushion and support when walking around on concrete for a day.
