First iPhone12 will cost $124.99.
To activate this line, you have to be able to receive a verification text message on that iPhone12. After you activate it online and have an account at metropcs website, you can add a second iPhone12 for $84.99.
Device automatically unlocks after 12 months and doesn't require having service. iPhone12 is locked to MetroPCS.
You can let the first month expire and your account will automatically close. Nothing to do from your side.
Amazon Prime activation (also requires a text message to the first device):
https://www.metrobyt-mobile.com/b...e/activate
Prime will end as soon as your first line is closed or expired.

Details - iPhone 12 currently gets the login code and that's the only phone line, along with other tablet lines. I need the login code to be received on tablet. I didn't see any option online account.
Thanks for your help.

Unlock eligibility requirements
We unlock mobile devices that meet the following eligibility criteria free of charge:
The device must be purchased from Metro by T-Mobile.
The device must not be reported as lost, stolen or blocked.
Three hundred sixty-five (365) days must have passed since the device's activation date.
eSIM -- doesn't matter since the phone is locked to Metro from factory
Login with your tablet's phone number
You need to activate the 1st line and have that phone on hand in order to get SMS confirmation code to login to online account -- after that you can add a 2nd line to your account (2nd line should be $50 phone + $35 discounted plan rate)
Once shipped, activate and order again.
You alrdy have an online account (phone number + 8 digit account pin you created when ordering) but you'll need the phone in hand for SMS verification code to access the account each time
I would setup the phone since it'll automatically see the pending Metro eSIM on startup then you can try moving the eSIM to another compatible phone if you want to access your online account in the future -- otherwise just delete the eSIM and factory reset the phone (do a basic setup using wifi without logging in to your Apple account) before trading it in
I would try to move it to another phone just in case you want to add more lines or port out the number for another carrier promo
Let's say I want to keep this GV number after I port in to Metro. Is it possible?
Can I port it back to GV? How soon after activating?
I know with Metro you have to do moving of SIM to another phone dealio with phone on hand (one from Metro) because service isn't tied to the SIM but also to the IMEI
Can I call up Metro right after activating and say I want to move esim to my unlocked dual SIM phone? Then I'd have it ready to port back to GV? But I don't want to pay more than the first month's service to make sure porting to Metro went through...

After the month of paid service is up, if you dont pay, it will be suspended. 30 days later the account is closed.
You would need to start a new account, by ordering a new phone or BYOD to the phone you already have.
