Also, what are other cheap options to get a number just for porting purpose?
If I transfer the ESIM from this new phone to the old phone, that shouldn't affect the unlock in 2 weeks, right? I wouldn't think so but Metro is kind of shady so just making sure.

I was able to transfer the esim to my other spare phone. I had to follow the instructions on the website
