Let be clear on their unlocking policy. There is 365 days waiting time, and also the phone should have service for 180 days within 365 days. This is per my recent conversation with their customer service agent.
Please remember that their unlock policy criteria does not specify automatic unlock regardless of the service time.

You're missing the point here. 99% of us only want to pay $125 1x to get the phone. You want to pay $70 a month for 2 years. Not us😀

Has anyone successfully unlocked this phone? I tried R-SIM19 but it did not work for me. Any detailed instructions to unlock this phone would be appreciated.

Here is my experience.
1st iphone 12: I bought when this was $180 during pixel trade-in promotion.
2nd iphone 12: I ordered for $125
3rd tablet: ordered on the phone for $20
All activated.

I used different cards but the same shipping address. Now I cannot complete 4th order on Metro website. I could not do it with CS on the phone or using the chat. So I believe it is limited to my address. Hope this helps.

Update: I got my 4th order completed for iphone 12 with different shipping address. There were security questions. I am done.

Anyone having issues with not being able to receive calls but no issues in making calls? I ported a google voice number over if that makes a difference.

Just placed an order but realized the number transfer PIN is expiring in two days on Sunday. Suppose they ship out phone today Friday, then I can receive it on Monday or Tuesday.
Is it possible to activate early, before I receive the new phone?

Why did my price increase to $299.99 in the cart, even though it showed $49.99 when quoting? For the second phone.

Yes, it had happened to me with GV too, just give it a day or two to fully working.

Don't worry about that. And yes, you can activate early. When the phone ships, you will get an email for that.

Yes, It happened to me too, Just call Metro (800) 518-751. when your porting is completed, you will get email from Google.

the quote is for a port. 299 is for a new number

I tried 3 different versions of qpe unlock card. All 3 can bypass the activation. But they can't get signal from tracfone or cricket. 2 of the 3 work for helium mobile sim. But no hotspot nor wifi calling as it still treats as Metro and ask me to call customer service to enable the function. I have been using it on helium mobile for 5 months. One month left to get it unlocked.

I just tried an Rsim19 card but unable to get the menú to pop up. I'm trying to use this with verizon. I can't seems to get the menú to comeup when I insert the sim. May try another vendor.

Your phone number doesn't qualify for promotion. It's probably a T-Mobile network number. Try a different number (like Google Voice).
