And, as far as I can see - no reason to even activate with Metro/TM other than making sure the phone works. And I could probably do that on wifi anyways.
Though I wonder if Metro will do something if the cheap phone is not activated - who knows.

So I signed up with visible using a random referral code, $5 for first month. Immediately used the number for the port in on new account with metro and ordered the iPhone 12 for $125.
I want to trade this phone into att. Do I need to wait to receive it or is it safe to do the iPhone 16 preorder and choose iPhone 12 as the trade in?
And I know people have asked, but it's really safe to trade in a carrier locked phone to att? They won't deny the trade in? Will be a wasted $130 if they do.
