If buying with InstaCart make sure to get the GC from Costco first, $80 for $100 worth, and you can get 2 of them; effectively offsetting the higher instacart price vs the in warehouse price.

I think RTINGS [rtings.com] has a decent summary of the differences between the C3 and C4

Is this good deal for my first TV in a studio apartment (48inches for ~600 sq ft)? What about compared to LG B4 deal from Best Buy? Seems to be sitting at my local Costco via Instacart.

Depends how far you're sitting away not the sqft of your studio. Personally I like a 65" for a living room and I would go for a cheaper 65" over this. But for a bedroom or if you're sitting closer this is good.

Did you try it? I have 10 gift cards in cart but don't want to place order and be stuck with $1000 in instacart gift cards.
It's very tempting but I did not. Instacart GC has its limit at 2 per account online but you could also get them in store(price tag has 2 per customers as well). I just feel like it's too much hassle to ask about how many GC the warehouse can sell, which sounds very fishing. Waiting for a better/easier deal. I would image that with Samsung/Sony/LG all battling around OLED TVs, a even better will come around if not soon.

Does anyone know if buy from Instacart can you return to Costco in 90 days? Does the money go back to Insatcart? what if I used a gift card?
I kind of want to get it but not, it's such an awkward size.

Price back at $1249
On Costco.com it was always $1249. You have to get it either in warehouse or off of Instacart.

Within a day you will get the receipt posted to your costco.com account as an in warehouse purchase even if you bought via Instacart (via Instacart there is a separate receipt). I don't see why you wouldn't be able to return to Costco like you would anything else, though if you bought via Instacart the markup wouldn't be refundable.

For those using as a PC monitor, is the text crisp or somewhat blurry?
I'm typing this on a 42" that is about 2' from my face. Text is perfectly clear BUT it is important to go into settings and set the port for PC. It will be a bit blurry if you don't do that.

My 48" is in my office and sitting back about 3-4' from my face. It is fine given that distance and similarly not blurry (again, with the correct setting).

Additional setting: make sure to set your graphics card to 120hz output. Everything will be much smoother! Also enable HDR.

Did you bring it in
They sent a repair person to my house. Tried to fix it but couldn't. Honestly, this worked out better since upgrading from a C1 to a C4 for pretty much nothing is a win.

I see, thanks. When I buy at Costco it returns to the original payment method. Does Costco return to the original payment method if I buy from instacart?

Wasn't there a similar color tint issue specifically with the 42" C3 model?
I bought mine through this deal 3 days ago. The green tint is almost a non issue. You can barely tell. It's not nearly as bad as people try to make it seem.

I got one at the new Loomis Costco. They had a bunch so I got to cherry pick the pristine, middle of the pallet, box. Going to try it for my gaming PC monitor. Still don't know if the B4 Best Buy deal is better. I want the 144hz VRR but supposedly the B4 is slightly brighter in game-optimizer mode and has less "green tint". But I'm very sensitive to refresh rate so I'd notice the 24hz difference. Such a tough decision.

I bought this and have been using it as a monitor for the last 3 days. It's absolutely stunning. I have a very large desk. Had to get use to a non curve panel, 800r is what I perfer. After setting it up with the correct settings, the text is pretty clear and crisp. Better than my LG oled UW. Gaming is great! I can definitely see a difference in my fps from going to 1440 240hz oled to 4k 120hz-144hz but the picture quality it a big difference. And we have 90days to return it, if it's not your thing. GL

I'm coming from a 32" 1440p 180hz IPS, but not a curved ultrawide. I've used an old 42" 4k VA panel TV in the past, and I've always missed the sheer immersion such a large display gives you. But the other details like fixed 60hz refresh rate and smeary dark image VA properties made me return back to traditional PC monitors. But now I feel this OLED TV panel checks enough boxes to go back to that wonderful huge screen immersion without so many compromises.

Many people can't imagine using a 48" as a PC screen, but really it's just as simple as pushing the screen back more than a typical monitor. I actually really enjoy having all that physical desktop space that affords you. It's not a negative at all but rather actually a win win situation. I just set the monitor on it's own stand like this behind the desk and adjust the scaling appropriately. I'll be still setting up my 32-in IPS as a side monitor for all my static display monitoring. 👍
