Too many here lately calling people idiots and morons. It used to be once in a blue, but now I see it on every thread. These classless people need to be banned

BB deal was great, and this one isn't bad either. Both can be true. Not everyone can spend literally hours or nearly an entire day to take advantage of bb deal.. not to mention the time to order the trade in, credit, refund, stress of it so.

Mint deal is one and done. Surprise Google is offering this at launch. There's helluva lot more deals with P9 vs P8... eBay, swappa, fb will be flooded for a while.

Yes. The pixel 7 pro for 100something bucks with mint deal

What's important is that the SIM card pack is separate from the phone. I resold the SIM card pack on ebay. Kept the phone and used it on my existing Mint plan (just moved old SIM to new phone)

I don't know if any of this has changed, but hopefully these devices don't end up locked for a full year: https://www.lightreading.com/regu...int-delays

Edit: never mind, it's already 60 days!

Do you have to put in the SIM to activate it to start the 60 day period?

No offense but this gotta be the most ridiculous question I have ever seen on SD ..and I have seen a lot !
It's actually not really that ridiculous ~ when they ran this promotion for the Pixel 7 Pro originally, it was unlocked. It was only a year later that they started offering locked Pixel 7 Pros - and even those were unlocked early.

Anyone ever take advantage of this offer (I've seen it in the past with older Pixel releases) while already on a Mint plan? I'm on the 3 month bundle. I'm not really sold on their service yet but would try this for the phone alone. I'm just not sure how to port out and then in again, as I'm hoping to keep my number. TIA
I had this offer for pixel 7 pro that I'm still using until today. Nothing but great things to say about Mint, would probably upgrade by black Friday if they would have pixel 9 pro (not the XL)

Do note, you need to port in your number to mint to get 12 months, don't think quick port out and then port back in would be a way to retain current number and start 12 months again. Please correct me if I am wrong.
I have done this before, about 2 years ago. I ported out for 30days to boost, then ported back in without any issues. I have heard that you can do it for shorter but cannot verify that.

This doesn't make sense, aren't you required to port in your number?

Last year around BF pixel 7 pro was $99 + cost of the plan of choice... don't know if we will see the like any time soon though.

What would happen if you place the order but the port-in fails due to issues with the other carrier? Would Mint still honor the price?

They must have changed having the phones locked. I bought a pixel 7 with a similar deal because my wife phone was getting old. It came unlocked and I just ported a google voice number and put the sim in an old phone for emergency hotspot.
Different deals have different terms. The phones have ranged from unlocked to locked for up to a year.

That was a generation-old phone. This is an unreleased phone.
