BestBuy only canceled orders for those idiots that chose to ship it home.
Too many here lately calling people idiots and morons. It used to be once in a blue, but now I see it on every thread. These classless people need to be banned

BB deal was great, and this one isn't bad either. Both can be true. Not everyone can spend literally hours or nearly an entire day to take advantage of bb deal.. not to mention the time to order the trade in, credit, refund, stress of it so.

Mint deal is one and done. Surprise Google is offering this at launch. There's helluva lot more deals with P9 vs P8... eBay, swappa, fb will be flooded for a while.

Currently eBay has this phone model with unlocked for around $600 but this phone is not unlocked. I think buying this deal to flip on eBay will not yield profit at all even flipping the phone only on eBay and keeping the plan. Too risky to buy unless you really like the phone. I want a free 12 month plan again but I believe it is too risky to flip on this deal. I will wait on the BF deal.
Just wait a week or two then check the 12-month prepaid mint SIM in ebay. Many buyers of this deal would sell their SIM cards to recover some expense. I have bought 12-month 5GB plan for $4x.xx twice shortly after previous 7 and 8 deals.

I used pixel phones from 1 to 5. 3 was the most impressive one. I bought 6, 6a and 8 on the first day of their release, but quickly dumped them after less than a month. 6 and 6a had terrible radio issues, 8 constantly got hot. I would hold until more reviews of 9 come out.

You must bring your phone number to mint, so it's not for existing mint customers.

Would a T-mobile sim work on Mint locked phone out of the box?
Interested in this as well since T-Mobile picked them up.

Hi
So just to get it correct

If I port my number, I get 12 months of service.

The phone gets unlocked in 60 days. Can I port out of mint then after 60 days and use a different carrier in my Pixel phone?

How long do I have to wait before activating the SIM? I still have at least a month left on the deal I got with Boom mobile.

45 days, maybe more if you chat with them: https://www.mintmobile.com/help/c...ate-later/

Is the radio problem fixed on p9? Typing from from my p8pro that's terrible on calls and sms
Supposedly it is improved, but time will tell. It is still using a Tensor chipset (albeit an upgraded one) which has been problematic on a few models.

Yes but you lose 10 months of Mint service that way, there is no refund and it is gone when you port out.

Must be a US card issuer and your address info must match exactly.

Existing customers can buy the phone only for $399 from your Mint account/app.

There are ways to take advantage of the 6 months free service but none of them are bulletproof so probably not worth the hassle of trying.

Probably not, they went to a lot of trouble to separate the SIM card identifiers a couple years ago. It used to work but seems unlikely now. I wouldn't chance it.
