FYI you can get $3 off with Chase (make sure to activate) or Wells Fargo deals (if you have it on your card) + $4.50 from CB site, bringing this down an additional $7.50.
Sportsline deal is still better since it's adfree, right now it's $49.99 with their 50% off coupon.
or do the 3 month deal for $14.99, when you cancel they give you 2 months for free, and then just keep cancel + renewing.
Search SD for sportsline to see past threads.
Good deal for $5 a month that includes showtime. I get Paramount+ for free through Walmart+ ($12.99/month), and I get Walmart+ for free through Amex platinum. So if anyone here has Amex Platinum - you get Walmart+ and Paramount+ for free. You can add Showtime for $6/month.

Sportsline is very difficult to deal with.

Tried to cancel my subscription and went thru hell to do it. Finally had them delete my account entirely so I am not getting billed at all from them

Somehow, my ad-free Paramount+ is still active though lol, not like i use it

No way they dont try selling the company by next year to another streaming platform, they are hermorrhaging money

I am a streamer and also a KC Chiefs fan, so I use Paramount Plus to stream their games. I got this 50 percent off last year and recently cancelled as my year ends 9/10/24. I wonder if I can just sign up under a new email near to the 9/6 and get it for another year.

Deal continues until September 6th.

Wait until September 5th and subscribe with a new email address to take advantage.

Last year my Amex Blue Everyday Cash Card had $19.99 back for Paramount subscription. I will wait until September 5th to see if there is any offer from Amex, Citi Double Cash or Chase Sapphire Reserve and let go this $3 off Chase offer I got.

As somebody who has Paramount+Showtime for years now here is what I like about it.

First off folks who get it for free every month with a new code are doing the right thing if they don't use Paramount as much as I do. But still this $60 yearly cost is not much for what I use it for and saves me the hassle of subscribing every single month.

Here is what I like.

- I am a soccer fan and all Champions League, Europa League and Italian Serie A games are being streamed.

- I love CBS shows and I am able to watch them add free and even catch old shows that I missed when I was younger.(46 years old and started watching TV a little more as I got older)

- I am able to watch local NFL games without worrying about an antenna.

- I am catching up on News thru CBS News and I am able to watch it live and also watch clips if I chose to.

If what I stated above doesn't apply to you then go the route of monthly codes. But if you like convenience of setting it and forgetting it, this is the best deal around for Paramount+. If you decide to subscribe check to see if your credit card has any cashback to sweeten the deal and go from there.

$6/ month = $72/ 12 months. Which is better price?

What is this DVD thing of which you speak?
Those silver discs that are strangely still hanging around despite Blu-ray and UHD being better formats.

But yeah, if you want to watch How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days or Tommy Boy, Paramount+ is your jam.

There are the South Park specials which are absolutely worth watching if you like South Park.

On this now. It is a good deal, though free with W+ when W+ is on sale is even better...which I discovered 2 days after signing up for this same deal Frown

If you never use W+, this will still remain the better deal

We had it for a year with W+ and basically never used it. We resubbed to W+ and I haven't bothered setting it up again. Any new content up to persuade me?
The Mayor of Kingstown! Possibly just finished up its last season, but that was my only reason to have it (outside of extra paw patrol episodes for the kids) .

How long after you cancel does it take until you are considered a returning member?
Just sign up again using a different email, then switch it back next year when they have another 50% off promo! You won't have to worry about cancelling it, I plan to sign up with a new email this week, since the current email link with paramount expired in one week!

Thanks. When I go to the Sportsline site, it states the following:

"BECOME A SPORTSLINE MEMBER TODAY!
Membership includes unlimited access to our team of experts across all sports, plus a premium subscription to Paramount+.
Dominate your fantasy league with our optimal rankings, advice from proven experts, and winning DFS lineups.
The top Vegas experts, insiders, and former bookmakers tell you who they're picking for NFL, horse racing, college football, NBA, golf and more.
SportsLine's advanced computer model simulates every game 10,000 times and gives you ATS, OU, and ML picks.

NEW! SportsLine membership includes a 30-day free trial of Paramount+ Essentials.
Stream 30,000+ episodes from CBS, BET, Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon & Smithsonian Channel.
Get exclusive, subscriber-only originals.
Watch 4 channels of live TV and sports - including NFL on CBS.
Paramount+ is for US residents only. Paramount+ account activation not valid during discount promotional periods."

Researching further, I found this:

"Which SportsLine subscribers are eligible for a free Paramount+ subscription?

SportsLine subscribers who pay full price for a subscription are eligible to receive a free Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscription. If you paid a promotional price or are on a free trial, you will not be eligible for a free Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscription until you are charged the normal, full amount for your SportsLine subscription. For example, if you paid a reduced price for the first year of an annual subscription, you won't have access to Paramount+ using your SportsLine subscription until you pay the normal annual price the next time you are billed."

So what do new subscribers get if they sign up with the 50% off promotion: 1. the full package for a year, or 2. a one month free trial?

I fear it is the 1 month free trial.
