All I have to say is if you make any kind of trade in, make sure that your trade-in product is 100% perfect. They screwed me on a trade-in with my phone. They sent me pictures of a phone that was not even mine and said that the battery had expanded and there were scratches. I had taken pictures before I sent it and my phone was perfect. There's no way you're going to beat them because they're way bigger than you are and they have way better attorneys. Plus they won't send your old item back because it has batteries that are hazardous. So basically I was screwed out of a $400 trade-in purchase on a phone. I continue to make these comments because Samsung screwed me and I'm giving a little back.

It doesn't let me trade in an S6 Lite for the 6GB version only for the 8GB, which brings the total to $170.

How does trade-in work? If I select BestBuy as pick-up location for S9 FE, can I take my S6 Lite for trade-in at bestbuy? Or will I have to mail it in to Samsung ?

How is this as an upgrade to one of the newer s6 lite? (2022 or 2023 I think it is?) Mine are primarily just used for movies and drawing for the kids when traveling

It depends on your use case. S7FE is a huge tablet and if you like the same size you need to upgrade to S9 FE+. Personally I enjoyed S7FE while at home but felt it was way too bulky and heavy on international flights. So I upgraded from S7FE to S9FE. It's basically a trade off between screen size and portability. Performance wise you will not gain much with either. So maybe wait for an S9 deal would make more sense unless you want to downsize like me.

S6 lite 2020 179566

S6 lite 2022 325000

S6 lite 2024 415000

S9 FE 2023 517000

Much bigger upgrade for 2020 and 2022 versions also for extending the software versions and maintenance periods. (Both on features and security updates)

Probably not worth it for S6 Lite 2024 owners.

It's good information for people who actually use the GPS and Location functions.
I have 3 Tab S9 FE now and they have been working fine and were great upgrades from 2020 S6 Lites on both display quality and performance. For S6 Lite 2020 owners it's quite a deal.
I have the regular Tab S6 with OLED display. I only really use my tablet for watching Youtube or Netflix. To me it's little dim, but still has the good contrast that OLED has. Do you think it's worth upgrading to S9 FE for just watching purpose?

Interestingly, it doesn't show me OP's deal for 6gb model but shows same $98-99 price for 8gb model, which is even better. Check out 8gb too
