I was looking at the $199 iPad recently. Having never owned an android tablet, do these get years of OS updates like the iPad? I'm seeing that they will give $113 for my obsolete iPad Air, which makes this a $200 deal.

In it for the 8GB model. S6 Lite kinda lagged on me from time-to-time. Hope this one is more future proof and speedier.

Major differences for me vs S6 Lite are
-better processor,
-2x RAM/storage (8GB model).
-45W charging vs 15w S6Lite
-90hz adaptive refresh rate.

Really just use my tablet for media consumption and travel, and at $170 and some change, this is a steal.

Would I like an AMOLED? Hell yes, but I'll rock this a couple of years hoping Samsung will give a good trade-in credit in the future.

I have an old S6 I bought years ago to trade in. Issue is it has OLED screen burn. Is it still eligible for trade-in? Battery on the unit has degraded considerably, but still charges regularly. No other issues with the device.

Should I pull the trigger for the trade-in?

Why not?! If they decline your trade-in, then just send S9 FE back and get your S6 returned. Screen burn isn't your fault, it's SAMOLED issue.

49 dollars upgrade from s7 fe to s9 fe, not sure if worth upgrading though, it's a very small upgrade
I don't see a s7 on the drop down list to trade in. The top are s6 lite and s6 for a $250 value. Thanks

Where do you see the option of trading in s7 fe? I'm not seeing it.

You have to choose a higher model, can't trade in an S7 FE on the 6GB FE now. $49 pathway appears to be dead.

A9+ vs. S9 FE, which one is better?
I have both. I got the S9 FE in October 2023 and got the A9+ like 2 weeks ago with that good deal. The S9 FE is a more polished experience and the battery life is actually better and charges faster. Better build, fingerprint sensor, better screen, better processor and has the stylus. Spec wise the S9 FE is definitely better.

The A9+ is still a very good tablet and has awesome bang for the buck. I would rather have either the S9 FE or A9+ over the ipad 2021 tablet ($200) because I much rather have Samsung android user experience.

S9 FE has the same processor (exynos 1380) as my Galaxy A54 phone.
A9+ has the same processor (snapdragon 695) as my Motorola G Stylus 2022. The processor is quite good. I have been happy with both performance but the exynos is better.

S6 lite is not a trade in option.
It worked for me without logging in. Once I logged in with my EPP account, the S6 Lite option disappeared. Might want to check if that's the same case with you.

I draw in my s9 fe. It's great.

The only thing folks should be aware on, is that the 3rd party cases are difficult to find. There's a million out there, but they sell them fitting two models at once. It's not just an s9 or an s9 fe, cases are designed to fit both.

I can't remember how much of a size difference between the two there is (like 10 vs 10.1), but I went through several cases on Amazon before I found one that actually fit the s9 Fe. I settled on the Spigen folio case.

If you think you are going to order from Ali, might be an issue with returns etc.
