My amex has a $45 back when spending $90 on Mint service.

Should be stackable with this - you are required to pay $90 for Mint service with this deal.

So, how does one activate the phone without buying service?

If have a current Mint Sim, slap that bad boy in the phone. And Mint phones are no hassle to unlock.

I hate how the carrier deals stick you with the 128gb base storage option 😡. My OnePlus 8T has 256gb and I guess I'm keeping it unless anyone has a workaround?

Does that mean I have to leave it in the new Pixel phone and use the phone for 2 months? Or, put the Sim right back in my current phone as soon as the new Pixel is activated?

I am using an iPhone and buying this Pixel for my DH who does not mind using a google phone. I don't want to be stuck with a google phone for 60 days.

Here is the question. I am in Mint yearly plan now. I have an 14 pro max which only has esim. As per Mint policy "Yes, phone is locked for now. New and existing Mint Mobile customers will have their new phone automatically unlocked 60 days after being activated on the Mint Mobile network." I have to activate it, right? So, can I just transfer my esim to this phone to activate it and continue with my plan for the next 2 months? After it unlocks can I just transfer esim back to Iphone then?

It a great deal but I just need the phone.
Keep the phone. Sell the SIM kit

Is that worth more than $120, though? I like Pixel phones, but I think the base 9 isn't really a deal after selling the plan. The MSRP is stupid high just so it can be marked down as a "deal".

On separate browsers I was going through the checkout process.
Logged in and using the shop new phones section i get the $399 price.
Logged out, its still $399 but makes you choose a plan, so comes to $489.

Both show the same blurb about service/auto renewal.
Chatted with an agent and she confirmed that that is a default section on checkout and will not apply to anyone with an existing plan.

In for one and took screenshots of chat just in case they try to make me get a new plan.

Got one for my wife... great deal. Will need some storage options for all those photos she takes. Do have 1TB One-Drive storage for each of the fam so I'm thinking that will take care of it.

So existing customers get the discounted price, period, as long as they put their sim in the phone and leave it in for 60 days... Is that correct?

Looked into this deal. Mint also offered a trade in on my Pixel 8 Pro which would have made it free plus some tax.
