The breaker bar is fine for some applications, and for those applications, you might be able to save some money by using a breaker bar. I went all-in on impact wrenches because there are some applications that a breaker bar would be tough, for instance, to loosen the anode for a water heater, I noticed that the water heater was turning as I applied torque on the nut, and the usage of an impact wrench would make the task so much easier. I remember using a 4 ft cheater pipe on the crank shaft nut by sitting on it, the impact wrench would make the task so much easier. I highly recommend that if you have the money to spare, you should consider the impact wrench as it really does make things so much better especially if you're in a tight space where the breaker bar is hard to use.

This threw me off, but the flyer lists hog anvil and part number is for the hog anvil. I didn't catch the pin detent in the description until after checkout, so I guess we'll see.

The name description is actually a typo. The flyer listed the $99 impact as a hog ring, the picture is showing hog ring as well. I confirmed it with the online chat.

Another site had a similar deal as well. I picked one up for $99. I had been debating doing my own brakes... When I saw the $99 i finally pulled the trigger. Also picked up the angle ginder for $99. Never seen it so low, wonder if they are making a new model or something so retailers are trying to clear these out
