Won't ship to NY State, because we don't have permission to cut things here.

Great line of knives, beware may lead to collecting. The leek is still the best size imho but this little guy is handy if you want something small. The Chive is in between the two.

My favorite pocket knife to this day - it's a little heavy, but in a good way. I've had mine for over 15 years!

...and this is ~$8 less than what I paid for mine back in 2009.

Edit: Oops, mine's actually the middle size Scallion, but this Chive is great too, just a little shorter. The bigger size Leek feels 'sluggish' when opening unlike the smaller Scallion & Chive.

Bought one for the lols. I like the small blade length, I would prefer automatic tho at 1.9 inch since that's legal where I'm at

Still looking to add a Magnacut to my lineup

Agree, the Leek is great for edc, the chive is a little bulkier.

I have a Leek and a Scallion. I've used the Leek for over 10 years.

The open assist spring broke on the Scallion, filled out the form on Kershaw's website and had replacement parts mailed within a week for no cost.

I highly prefer the scallion. I am a fan of smaller knives just for day-to-day uses (opening packages, cutting tags off clothing, etc.), and the chive ends up being a little too small to handle safely. I don't have particularly large hands, either.

It's a very nice knife for what it is, but it gets a little finicky to close at the size it's at, so the scallion is my go-to. I find the leek a little too chunky for keeping in a pocket and not feeling it, the scallion has been hard to replace as my EDC.

Don't have this knife but I have the leek which has speedsafe and it is the smoothest fastest opening knife I have ever used at this price point. It's like butter opening. I find any reason to use it.

The whole Ken Onion series is great for the money--but be careful with the tip (especially on the Chive). They have a tendency to snap off.

Also, make sure you realize just how tiny this knife is before you order. I love it, but it is definitely NOT a camping knife or anything of the sort.
