Maybe they've improved over the last 3 or so years, but I doubt it. I'd avoid unless they were free.... And even then..
The tool boxes generally seem to be decent, but I don't have long term experience with them. I'd imagine this one is pretty cheap
My torque wrench ratcheting. Mechanism broke within 3 or 4 uses. Again, not doing anything I shouldn't have been.
The tools I've bought were from the last few years of the sears era. Maybe they are better now, but I personally doubt it.
The old USA tools are fantastic. I have my dad's and his dad's and I've never had a problem aside from out right abuse.
When kobalt, husky, and harbor freight exist in the same or lower price bracket, craftsman is a non-option for me

I have majority of old Craftsman (usa) but I also have Kobalt and Harbor Freight and I have been happy with them too. I think people get too caught up where the tools were made.

That said, modern Craftsman sucks but sometimes they just got shopping on the global marketplace and put something out like this.
