Got this at Target last week for slightly more. It's a huge hit in our house. We even play a slightly modified version with our four-year-old. Great game, great price. I wish the "character pieces" that move were a bit more durable since they get torn up a bit if you take them in and out of the stands as kids are likely to do.
If you have kids who are even a bit into Pokemon and want to get them off a screen, this may do the trick.

It appears that the placement of tiles on the table are completely random as some tiles in the photo are inaccessible (no path to them).

I would guess this game has lots of replayability?

The original placement is random, but as you add/move tiles during the game, no piece stays "inaccessible." It may be easier or harder to access depending on how aggressively other people are playing.

Do you get to rotate certain tiles during game play to make the paths accessible?

Yes, in a way. Tiles slide and there is always one free tile that you can rotate and slide in to any column or row, that pushes out a tile and that becomes the free tile for the next player to place. We got this game on a whim and absolutely love it. Infinitely replayable and you can get to some pretty deep strategy

Pokemon Labyrinth?

Is this the one where David Bowie evolves into Ziggy Stardust?

Jennifer Connelly uses heroin…it's super effective!

Bunch of Philistines around here! Jim Henson and Darren Aronofsky just never had a chance to collaborate. They would have found the people behind that so-called "Rainbow Connection"

This game is a big hit in our house. Lots of play ever since our 7-year-old Pokémon enthusiast got it for Christmas. Easy game set up, & quick game play.
