I've been using random memory card on my sony mirrorless, dashcam, security cam for more than a decade now and haven't had the issue with compatibility. Thanks for this deal.

Just like motherboard QVLs, I'd personally only use memory cards approved by Nikon for your model. But it's worth a gamble if your camera has two memory card slots.

potential card failure and because you tried to save a dollar you lose ALL of you photos on that card?

Potentially a big deal or nothing Smilie
Ew. Don't like that! I've been using Sandisk. They've been ok. Camera is old so not worried about it but don't want to lose pics.

This price is actually great. I think I paid a hundred bucks for a similar uhs-ii card 5 years ago.

It means the card is not tested for compatibility when Nikon's engineers designed the camera and developed the firmware. It doesn't necessarily mean you will definitely experience problems, though. I also believe SanDisk cards are on Nikon's approved list so you should be fine.

LOL. Stop being ignorant.
Ever followed dashcam threads on Slickdeals? SD cards compatibility is a real issue.
What are the compatibility issues with SD cards? I never heard of that. Most of the discussion on SD card deals are about counterfeit cards and then with dashcams, endurance since it writes the the card over and over.
