I got Dualshock 4 Certified Refurb directly from Sony during Thanksgiving 2023 for $30.
It looks like new and still works as of now.
It may come this year...if they still have stock left by November.

I wanted to buy a spare controller for PC gaming because re-syncing between my PC and Xbox can get quite cumbersome.

Any recs on alternatives to the Xbox controller? Is there something that is better built, durable, etc.? Not a sweaty competitive gamer but I am aware of some Xbox controller models dying rather quickly. Not these, regular controllers but I think the Pro models?

Looks like only certain colors are free shipping. I wanted red, but got purple instead since it was free shipping.

Correct, not all are free shipping. The ps5 dual sense with charging dock is still a good deal for me though. $59 total.

I don't know if this is the SD effect or these MoFos are just slow as hell at shipping. Good lord.... 4 days later still just processing.... BTW, I got Freeship but it may be because I got a QVC card that I rarely use but got for a promo before.

Looks like free shipping is gone now. I was able to order 3 Xbox controllers and got free shipping on all of them(Red, Blue, Green). So far 2 have shipped and one is still processing.

I've heard good things about the 8bitdo controllers with hall effect joysticks - would probably go for one of those if I could get it under $40.

Update: Seems like QVC way OVERestimated delivery time, unlike Amazon which seems to underestimate even with paid Prime membership. Only took 6 days. Shipping was free so can't complain. The velocity green controller color is pretty slick for $35 and tax. 😁
